Justin Bieber album reportedly banned in some countries because of Jesus reference

Featured Replies

Topless Justin Bieber and symbols of Jesus Christ -- two things that just won't fly in the Middle East, where Justin's new album has been rejected for being too provocative.

Sources close to the situation tell TMZ ... Bieber's "Purpose" album is getting the bum's rush in several Middle Eastern countries, as well as Indonesia -- predominantly Muslim regions. We're told the issue is twofold: Justin being shirtless, and the cross tattoo on his chest.

I think this is a good thing because it makes everyone put their cards on the table.

Agree? Disagree?

What do you think is a good thing? Government censorship or people being protected from Beiber music?

The bum's rush is appropriate for a bum.

Censorship exposed.

or people being protected from Beiber music?

Censorship exposed.

It's certainly nothing new to any of these countries on that list. But in a way, I agree with you: every once in a while it's nice to be reminded what kinds of governments they have over there and just what they're all about. A story like this brings it to the foreground.

If we can sic the Beliebers on them, they might get fed up enough to actually change something over there.

Generally speaking I like Bieb's music. I am not afraid to say it.

If folks could look past his image and listen to his music they might surprise themselves. It didn't become acceptable for males to admit they like Justin Timberlake until a year or so ago. Beiber still has about 5-7 years before he is accepted by grown men.

I know your post is in good fun but most of the hot chicks I know like the Bieb's music and/or the Biebs. Just sayin'

After reading an commenting on the other Bieber thread I knew what this one was about before I even opened the link. I can't believe BGP has had two Bieber threads that weren't about him going off the deep end in under two weeks.

Also the middle east still has the Bieber fever, they just refuse to accept Jesus Christ as their lord and savior. A lot like so many western cultures refute Muhammad's existence and ban him from being allowed within their culture......
