I know some people will definitely disagree with me on this and I'm okay with that, but IMO teams can simply get bored playing teams that they are far superior too and then the game winds up being a lot closer than it should be. I think this is Michigan St. They have had 3 games circled on their schedule since last season ended. This is one of those games. They believe that they were just as good as Ohio State last season and proved they were pretty close by beating Baylor last year. They returned the core of their team and I believe the Michigan State team of last year will finally show up and will put on a show against Michigan.

We shall see. More than ever we've seen the really good teams play down to their competition this year. Michigan has a chip on their shoulders and have not overlooked anyone. That archaic offense might struggle once they play a team that can match them physically. MSt is stout in the front 7, Michigan will have to make plays on the perimeter to win. I don't think their QB or WRs are capable. Just my opinion.

Maybe so. The big advantages I see for Michigan are a) they're far and away the best team Michigan State has played this season, b) they've faced a more talented team already and gave them all they could handle, and c) it's at the Big House.

Defense is going to win this game IMO. However it turns out, I think it's going to be a close one.

Michigan State hasn't shown me they're anything more than overrated simply based off of last season's success. Barely able to beat a terrible Rutgers and an awful Purdue doesn't impress me at all.

So does that mean Oregon is the fraud I've been saying on here for what 5 years?

State may be a little more motivated after stuff like this...

I'm interested to see how this one goes. Michigan has definitely proven that they are far from the team they were in Harbaugh's first year and are much better than I thought they would be at this point. I also agree that Michigan State hasn't played up to their ranking overall so far. If Michigan does win, it will make the higher rankings interesting.

I was aware, sorry for the confusion.

Scott County grad Grayson Miller starting for Sparty today.

Got to see the worst call in college football this season in the first half

Worst officiating I've seen all season in this game.

Just saw that. Isn't he a true freshman?
