(WKYT) - A campus alert was issued early Monday after a threat was found on Eastern Kentucky University's campus. The Eastern Kentucky University Police Department is investigating a report of graffiti with threatening language found in a men's bathroom in the Powell Building Sunday night and reported early Monday. According to EKU police, the message said "KILL ALL BY 10/8/15 THIS BU OOP."

My understanding is though this has happened a couple of other times and I don't think they canceled classes. If that's the case I would tend to think for some reason they are taking this as more serious than the past occurrences.

There was a "threat" reported by the FBI and ATF about universities in the Philadelphia area this week. I haven't seen any closings, so I'm thinking this one might be a little more involved.

October 7, 201511 yr Scary time to work at schools and universities. I wish they would allow concealed carry for teachers and professors. I know that's not a great solution but I don't know anything better off the top of my head
