No definitely desperate I'm in the stands every game an could not wait till we play our weak district

 

Clearly you weren't in the stands for the Sycamore game, because you reported in the final score thread from the Lloyd/Grant County game that you were at that game on Friday night, and not at the CCH/Sycamore game. I've quoted your post below, just in case you forgot about it. Unless...wait...are you magically able to be in two places at the same time???

 

I was at game last night an today , an I agree poor officiating is this game , braves was fighting back last night even though they called 2 Tds back on them , it was very clear who the dominate team was , today the officiating was just as bad helmets ripped off an holding calls against Lloyd that was never called I agree grant beat Lloyd but can't beat the refs

I'm blue all the way , just hear parents an fans talking all the time waiting on district games because of how weak district is this year

I clicked on your profile and looked over your past posts. This is the first CCH prediction thread you've posted in and you've never posted in a single CCH final score thread. However, exactly 40 of your 80 posts to date have been made in the Grant County preseason thread, and in Grant County game prediction and final score threads. You were even the person who started the Grant County/Carroll County and Grant County/Harrison County prediction threads, not to mention the fact that you accounted for 75% of the posts in those two threads.

 

Your attempt to come off as someone who follows Covcath is not a very good one.

Why does someone have to be a fan of only one program?

I went to the Covcath game against Columbus Desales. Covcath looks like they have a good deal of walking wounded. The strong schedule looks like it has taken its toll. I hope not, but that could be huge down the stretch

For this game, I will say that Grant will put up a good fight because Siple will have his boys ready. He is a great coach and will put his kids in the right spot. That being said, CovCath should pull away and win a comfortably

I'm assuming your post was aimed at me. To answer your question, theres nothing wrong with someone being a fan of more than one program. I was just pointing out that Deer hunter is claiming to be "blue all the way", and in the same breath he's trying to act like he has firsthand knowledge that CCH and the PHM are unhappy and are dying for a win because they've lost faith in their program. Deer hunter thinks he's being sneaky and I'm calling him out on it. He might blend in when he's in his deer stand, but he doesn't blend in when he tries to act like he's part of the PHM. Case in point: he said he's been in the stands at every game, yet I quoted where he said he was at the Lloyd/Grant County game at the exact same time as Covcath was playing Sycamore. If you flip through his previous posts, he speaks with obvious knowledge about the Grant County program, yet he has no knowledge to speak of about CCH. Just trying to point out a few things. I'll let you decide if he's genuinely a fan of both teams, or if he's just an impersonator.

Deer Hunter is not a Cov. Cath fan, he is Grant all the way. Look at his post, he clearly has been following Grant and trying to save face. Sad that he thinks Grant is weak considering he is a fan of theirs. To the game, Cov Cath will win and should win by a good amount. I think that the tough schedule will serve them better than the weak one for Grant.

Grant county has only lost 3 games by a combined score of 15 and all 3 in the rain and one on OT. There QB Joseph Knipp has found his groove on running or throwing. Grants RB has surpassed schools all time rushing yds and the MLB Triston Wallace is in the top of state for tackes in a 5A program. Grant wins by 14. The will be #5 ranked in nky.

That OT loss was to a Harrison County team that got blown out by another top 10 NKY team (in the rain) with a running clock early in the second quarter. That with two wins over two very bad teams, just doesn't give me a lot of confidence that Grant has even a remote chance in this game.

There are some that have overvalued Grant County and have undervalued Covington Catholic solely on record. CCH wins big on Saturday.

 

Now that their done with the Max Preps Gauntlet, I feel the Colonels can get a nice run over the next three weeks.

Cov. Cath should definitely win and I'm obvisouly a Grant fan but I am disappointed to an extent with there schedule. It does them no justice. I said in another thread that there trying to build confidence but at the same time when. Your losing games you should be winning that is most definitely not a confidence booster. I would rather get beat week in and week out by teams that should beat us rather then lose to teams that we should easily be beating. With the chance of holding a team like cov cath or highlands to limited points is more of a confidence booster then playing against small schools and winning a few.

I will always believe schedule is not as important as many make it out to be. Your schedule should fit your talent level. It does you no good to pay and get killed by teams that you have zero chance of beating, and playing teams that are significantly worse than your doesn't help either. I'd argue that if you are losing several games "you should be winning", maybe you aren't as good as you think you are. Grant's schedule is probably about right for where they are as a program. A few winnable games, and mostly toss up games. You can't control who's in your district, and most years Grant will be lucky to win a game in District, so Having a manageable non district schedule will help keep kids in the program and keep interest up.
