decision on the Coaches part causes a 17 year old kid to be feeling horrible right now when he shouldnt have even been in position to fumble the ball. This loss for Lawrence falls on the shoulders of the coaching staff imo.

As for the other, I wondered why they didn't take a knee two or three times myself. A coach knows his players better than anyone though and LC is very well coached team. I am not going to be rubbing anything in bc we (Raceland) have certainly been on the losing side of "what if" heartbreakers before. Again, LC - you have a good football team and the best of luck in the remainder of your season. :thumb:

Thanks TC, is just something I have to deal with on a daily, hourly basis. BGP and posting on here helps me forget about things sometimes ....BGP'rs are the Best.

LC had the ball and did not take a knee to end the game. Instead LC ran the FB and on second effort, he fumbled for a Raceland scope and score (under 1 min to play when this happened). Crazy ending.

 

What down was it?

I believe it was 2nd. They ran a play for about 7 yards if im not mistaken. Maybe they were trying to get 1 more first down.

I honestly think it was 1st down play. Our defense deserved it. Was on the field all night. Very fortunate and was a lucky win.

Fast forward to the end to watch the play. 2:42

It was first down and Mosley was fighting for extra yardage and fumbled Raceland picked it up and scored. LC had at least 4 turnovers. Raceland started drives on LC 15 yard line in first TD and right before half with under a minute to go LC had 4th and 5 on the 45 and tried to draw The Rams offsides and the center snaps it over Kiser's head and Raceland gets it around the 20 and scores right before half. LC flat gave this one away. Raceland had 1 drive all game.

Wow. Knees could have won the game there with Raceland taking TO's on offense. Thanks for the video OrangeCrush13. I really have no explanation for why LC didnt just end the game with the victory formation.

Neither team did much consistently on offense. It was a pretty tough defensive battle really. LC scored 3 TDs. One was a big play to Timmy for a 50 yd TD run, the other was a big play to Timmy for a 60 yard TD I believe, the other a 30 yard burst from Mosely. Raceland had the opening drive, then capitalized on LC mistakes. Didnt have to drive the length of the field. Had Raceland been able to take advsntage of all opportunities, the score would have been similar to last years. But LC's defense is much better and Raceland isnt as explosive. Really looking at the stat sheet, pretty even ball game. Couldnt be prouder of this Raceland defense tonight though.

Great win by the Rams.

BTW, if Kiser and the Daltons ever get on the same page, they could be absolutely deviststing. Kiser has a good arm, but has no touch. If he gets some touch on two or 3 of his deep throws to Robert, they would have been TDs, instead one was over thrown and the other under thrown.
