October 2, 201511 yr I wasn't paying as good attention as others probably but @spindoc, did I hear Simms bash the Steelers safety on more than on occasion for not reading something right or not being in the right position and allowing huge plays?
October 2, 201511 yr I didn't hear that and as much as I can't stand him, Mitchell was ok last night in most instances
October 2, 201511 yr Love the result since I'm a lot more concerned with the Steelers than the Ravens. Bad news is I have Antonio Brown in my fantasy football league and it doesn't look like he's going to be a factor until Big Ben returns.
October 2, 201511 yr Major botch job by the Steelers and their idiot kicker. Bell definitely should've gotten the ball on at least one of those 4th down attempts in OT. Also, has Joe Flacco always been this bad? Dude is awful. I don't follow him but my sense has always been he's the anti Dalton. Shines in the playoffs after not burning it up in the regular season.
October 2, 201511 yr Wow...interesting outcome for two teams showing horrible efforts. That was one of the oddest games ever to get national Thursday night coverage and an embarrassment for both programs. I got what I wanted with a Ravens win as it helps the Bengals lead over the Steelers in the AFC North. Win or lose to the Chiefs on Sunday the Bengals are still guaranteed first place alone after Week 4. Every loss for the Steelers is a plus for the Bengals as history would prove that they always seem to manage to bite back hard by late season. It's way too early in the season to get too excited about the Bengals being the class of the division, but it's sure a nice place to be sitting right now not knowing what the upcoming weeks bring.
October 2, 201511 yr As a Bengals fan I hope the Steelers never fire Tomlin. Love that guy there. We all feel the same about good old Marvin.

October 2, 201511 yr I didn't hear that and as much as I can't stand him, Mitchell was ok last night in most instances Maybe I'm making it up, but I could have sworn Simms pointed out how the safety didn't come down and make a play on the first TD that Baltimore scored. Then again on the huge run that Forsett busted, he pointed out the safety being totally on the other side of the field, Mitchell did come back and make the tackle though after Forsett gained something like 30 yards.

Bad news is I have Antonio Brown in my fantasy football league and it doesn't look like he's going to be a factor until Big Ben returns. He would have had a pretty decent night if he didn't drop that 30-40 yard TD. He definitely should have caught that.
October 2, 201511 yr Ben will be back sooner rather than later. While Vick wasn't spectacular last night, he did enough to win the game, and the stupid kicker couldn't execute, twice. Scobee has missed 10 kicks since the beginning of 2014. Time to find a new kicker.
October 2, 201511 yr We all feel the same about good old Marvin. Trust me I know he's horrible. Just helps that one of the other main competitors in the division also likes their own horrible coach. Evens it out.

October 2, 201511 yr Horrible efforts? Both teams played balls out. Not sure what you're going for. Execution by both may have lacked Execution MAY have lacked? Sorry... I wasn't aware that "Horrible efforts" and "Execution MAY have lacked" have that dramatically two different definitions, but if it satisfies a need to split a hair, hope it works for you. I turned in last night content with the final result, and found the game somewhat oddly entertaining in what for me appeared to be rather lackluster play for two so called historically excellent NFL programs. It felt more like somebody won only because somebody had to lose. A tie wouldn't had been too far fetched either, and it almost appeared highly possible. I'll agree that "balls out" and "lackluster" don't quite equate. You say "Tomato..." https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zZ3fjQa5Hls
