I don't hate the idea of going for it in either situation, but did Haley forget he had Bell at his disposal? I actually expected the Vick bootleg on the first one, but figured they would fake it to Bell first, only to go 5-wide with Bell blocking for Vick. Ravens made some bad decisions too. Both teams had their chances several times.

They definitely asked him to do too much, especially on those 4th down calls. I think some minor adjustments and they can win with him. I wish Vick would take a half-step to the right on his shotgun plays so that the ball comes to his left hand instead of right, forcing him to have to switch the ball to his left after receiving it.

He has a gift playing with a back like Bell. He doesn't run like he used to, but he can still scramble for a first down or near that when it's open. He's got an arm and can hit the open guy, but he's not going to thread the needle or finesse passes. You can win with that, I think. One other thing he could easily fix is getting the ball out to Bell quicker on dump-offs, designed or not. There were three or four passes that by the time Bell caught it he was being tackled before he had a chance to turn around. Give him an extra step to turn and some of those turn into decent gains.

October 2, 201510 yr Steelers need Ben back as soon as possible. Vick will not win you many games. Some of the passes he missed were just bad. He isn't 24 years old anymore. The naked bootleg would have worked 10 years ago but he isn't what he used to be. With that said, I thought the games outcome was great!
