This thread needs to be about today's event, the victims, the shooter, the community and the response. These stories are far too common. It occurs almost monthly. I agree that we could do without the political rhetoric, but you can't have a meaningful discussion about this tragedy without addressing the bigger issues.

October 2, 201511 yr Instead of focusing on this tool-bag, let's shift our focus to Chris Mintz. While everyone was running away (and who can blame them?), he's the one who charged the gunman getting shot 5 times in the process. Takes a special kind of person to do what this guy did. Hero.
