It would not surprise me if CCH won, this might be the best chance they have had in awhile.

 

I used to party with lots of CCH guys (all awesome by the way) and cold ones were never blue Gatorade.

Highlands players have absolutely zero reason to expect to win this game, let alone "know" they will win. The ripping some of you fair weather birds have given Hergott on here is something I have never seen from this fan base. I'd bet my life savings that team morale is at a historic low, and I don't see it getting any better. If you don't think 80% of the birds players are reading these threads you're outta ya mind.

It would be smart for them to not log in. I wouldn't if I were playing. I'm sure they hear enough feom their coaches and are quite aware they are struggling.

With the season to date results, a case can be made for either team to be the favorite on October 17th. However, until CovCath beats them on the field, the Birds have to be the favorites. How long has it been since CovCath has won in this series? 2006? Trust me, we are not sharing cold ones, toasting our good fortune in Park Hills.

The mindset has already changed in Park Hills amongst the players I'm sure. In fact just read a tweet from Casey McGinnis saying he was happy they had a 7:30am Sat morning practice today. Confidence can take you a long way and playing on their home field will help as well.

 

The Birds just have to keep improving and know that the only games that matter this year are the district games.

It is odd, but I think the HHS CCH game may be the best we've seen in awhile and I say that because both will have a losing record when they meet. But should be pretty fun game to watch.

Does the loss tonight to X shake your confidence in this Bluebird team or do you still think Highlands will be competitive in the post season?

 

It would shake my confidence in the program as a whole. Sure Highlands can have a down year, but not a down year that your not even competitive in games. Why are they not competitive, are there issues internally in the program? Which leads to confidence in the administration and coaches, why make a schedule this tough, if you know your going to be down. Where did all the good players go? Can they not develop their players? This is Highlands after all, not Boone County.

Yes. 1st half of the season...good thing that you guys don't root for NewCath. I wouldn't want to listen to people jump ship like that. High school kids fellas. Let them work it out. The ability to deal with adversity is revealed in many ways. Let the team mature and see how they respond.

I can assure you the parents of the Jr High kids are smiling knowing what is heading to the High School. This is a blip on the radar....how soon everyone forgets 7 state championships in the last 8 yrs.

Nice try but you're bait is a little stale...... Nobody is biting. I don't think there is too much concern in FtT. Haters can enjoy the ride but better jump on the train quick because the ride might last too long.
