Agreed! Much respect for the PRP coaches and players....and the folks in and around that community. Not sure how they do it but you can always count on solid teams in football, baseball and basketball. I'm sure they do great in other sports but I'm only talking about the big three that get most of the attention from the male population. You pretty much never see PRP falling out of relevance in any sport...always top notch.

 

Some schools should look at PRP as the blueprint if you want to complete in all sports. How in the world are they always so good and other schools very similar drop off the map every 5 years? Eastern is located in a similar community...so is JTown. Are kids getting dropped off at the door step at PRP or different kind of male athletes attending the school as apposed to Eastern and JT? Fern Creek seems to be back on track and moving up the 5A rankings. I'm just amazed at how some schools fall so far off the map in athletics and the PRP teams always seem to be hanging around the Top 25 in all sports...every single year.

I just remember last year when PRP beat our freshmen team, all their coaches came over shaking all of our coaches hands and thanking them for playing, total class act by those guys, so glad to play these guys & totally rooting for them! Outside of Friday!!! Lol

I think the Rocks come out with renewed vigor and camraderie and handle PRP with relative ease.

Considering it was knocked off against Male I think PRP might be underestimating how mad these kids are.

Sorry to go off on a tangent, but somebody in another thread stated that the Harper brothers have left Trinity. Can anyone confirm this? And if so, are any details known?

Prp is still young. 2or3 seniors on offense and 2 on defense. I totally understand all the predictions but I believe PRP scheduled this game with the future in mind.

Maybe I'm living in a dream land but I have a hard time comprehending all the hatred for the Rocks. If anything, I would expect verbal abuse from the X fans on a regular basis and the T fans giving it right back to X (at the end of the day, X is our rival no matter how you dice it or what you think of us). Seems like a bigger group of people/schools really can't stand or appreciate what T has accomplished. I would imagine if they lived in other communities, they would feel the same way about Highlands, Boyle, BG, Mayfield, etc. Price you pay for being on top for so long and walking around with a bunch of rings on your finger.

There is only a handful of teams in the state that could get within 3 TDs of Male or T this year. Maybe X, SK, and Scott Co, and PRP is not one of those teams.

 

But after X, SK & Scott, I think PRP is in that next tier and they are one of the Jefferson Co. teams that seems to be on the rise.

I am going with 45-7. T should certainly win, and perhaps with a running clock, but PRP will not lie down by any means.

While X and T go at it there is mutual respect.

 

There are still a multitude of people to use someone else's phrase that are butt hurt individuals over the success Trinity has had in the last 15 years and will do anything they can to cast aspersions on them.
