The weekly statistical leader reports for football and boys’ and girls’ soccer have been updated at KHSAA.org. Statistics are compiled weekly throughout the regular season and will be posted to the KHSAA website every Wednesday.

 

As a reminder, member schools are solely responsible for submitting statistical information. If a school or individual is omitted, or information is not updated, that means the team in question did not update its statistics through the KHSAA’s online system prior to the deadline.

 

Beginning last season, as contained in Bylaw 27, the requirements to enter and maintain rosters, schedules and statistics was enforced more rigorously by the KHSAA. This enforcement subjects member schools to penalties by the Commissioner, including fines and other actions, within the constraints of Bylaw 27.

There has to be a mistake somewhere in Pike Co. Central's offensive stats. According to this, they're averaging 800+yds of total offense a game. :eek:

Josiah Robbins' passing stats are incorrect. He threw for 407 yards last Friday night. There's no way he only has 73 yards for the previous two games. Plus it says Boyle County as a team has a total of 810 yards passing. Now, I LOVE LOVE LOVE me some Sam Tiller but he hasn't thrown for 330 yards in 3 games either.

Why do some teams not report? I can say for a fact a few BW kids would be at or near the top of rushing, scoring, and perhaps receiving. I'm not a fan of individual stats in HS, think coaches do it more to draw attention to ther programs, but does seem if one does it all should have to?

I wish they all did. I know of coaches who didn't want to post stats to keep opponents from scouting them easily. With today's technology it is impossible to keep that kind of information from being made known. I enjoy seeing and hearing about kids I have never heard of and seeing their stats.

Any coach that refuses to tally stats is an idiot. Hudl does it for you just about. Quit complaining about opponents scouting and provide your athletes some exposure. There's nothing like checking stats of your team's top player only to see some kid 40 counties over putting up better numbers. Khsaa does a great job of breaking the data down by class IMO. Makes the information easier to process.
