28 - 0, half. 323 yards to 10 in offense in the first half.

Tackling may be an issue but only 10 yards of offense in the half isn't going to get it done.

CovCath scores on a nice pass play. 35 - 7, Aves.

Colonels recover the onsides kick. Showing some fight.

Sycamore is usually a solid Cincy D1 team, not great, not bad. However, CCH has no business playing them.

They are lacking. Hitting too high and not gang tackling. I admit I'm old and cranky, but the fundamental tackling skills are not there. Don't know if a problem in football in general or specific to CovCath, but it is not good.

This is not new for this season. It has been a problem for a few years. I would look to the youth program and then up to see how it is being taught...That said, tackling is about desire.

Sycamore would be one of the better 6A teams in the state of KY.

I would put them between 6 - 10 in Kentucky 6A.

Year in and year out I agree.

A Ryle and Scott Co combo.

How's future OSU Buckeye Bonner looking?

To the 4th we go, 35 - 7 Aves.

A Ryle and Scott Co combo.

How so?

CovCath playing much better in the second half. Have moved the ball on offense and the defense has had some nice series.

Yes, tackling is somewhat dependent on desire. But tackling is also a function of speed and size. When you start playing bigger faster guys, tackling suddenly gets worse.
