Police identified the victims Wednesday as Kenneth J. Harstock, 48, of Edgewood; Sarah G. Willis, 70, of Bromley; John S. Willis, 79, of Bromley and Gloria J. Roaden, 72, of Ludlow. John and Sarah Willis were husband and wife. Roaden was Sarah Willis' sister.

I was also told that the vehicle coming down the hill accelerated quite a bit, and that the impact was so great that the grill of the vehicle going up the hill was pushed back to the firewall

What a sad situation. A loser drug addict kills innocent people.

According to the report, he was in an accident earlier in the month and his wife told the police he was on pain meds.

 

It is a shame that no one could keep him off the road. Sadly, there are more opioid fueled idiots like him. I know it sounds callous, but I have no sympathy for him. I will save my sympathy for the innocent people that he killed.

This is what I was expecting. I'd looked at the gentlemens background following the accident and waited for the information to become public. It's really sad that this is what we've come to expect out of society when these type of tragedies take place.

This is another example of why some folks aren't a big fan of Narcan.

 

I think high school Freshmen should have to go sit in court for a couple of hours and listen to what drugs and bad choices does to your life and those around you.

Agreed. There is a lot of disagreement right now and it seems like a lot of the federal and state money is going to treat the symptoms rather than the problem itself.

This once again points out the very serious effect of addiction, and once again, lives were lost. As we all know addiction effects every type of person in life, .

 

Pain medicine addiction is a real problem, as well as heroin, more needs to be done.
