uk#1fan
These rankings tell me one thing the voters haven't watched a game they are going by scores. Watusi
The AP polls are always good for some head scratching and homer voting. When LCA, Bellevue and Elizabethtown are getting first place votes, it does shed some light on the quality of the product. No offense to those schools, but none of them would be considered a #1 team in their class by an impartial voter.
Colonels_Wear_Blue
I think the Louisville Courier-Journal, the Lexington Herald Leader, and the Ashland Daily Independent are the three nearest AP voters to Northern Kentucky. There isn't anyone voting from NKY, and as such, NKY doesn't get represented very well on the AP polls. Fact.
Watusi
Homerism is a problem, and you are right CWB, if you don't have representation you are likely to get slighted. There were 14 voters this week, from the following locations... Ashland Danville Pikeville Elizabethtown Frankfort Harlan Henderson Hopkinsville Lexington Lexington Louisville Owensboro Princeton Paducah

LEX
To me SK beating Bryan Station & CAL is more impressive than X beating a Henry Clay team that is rebuilding and played without Buford in the backfield. In this case I think it was based on reputation with St.X. I also feel in 6A Scott County has to be #3 or #2 . They punished Pulaski last Friday. Old-School-Football
Seneca??? How in the world did they get votes. Maybe I'm wrong...I'll have to go back and check it...but not sure they have scored a TD this year.
