Big NKY games this week

NDA big win over St. U

Today - Highlands vs Ryle

Tomorrow - Ryle vs. Simon Kenton

Tomorrow - Campbell vs Boone County

Tomorrow - Newport Cath vs. St. Henry

Thursday - Seton, OH vs. Highlands

Thursday - Holy Cross vs. St. Henry

Have not heard or seen much about girls soccer on here this year. Who is doing well and who are the teams to watch?

2 weeks ago I would have said Boone beats Campbell in this game but being down 3 starters tomorrow it'll be tough! I will say this. If BC is healthy heading into tournament time they can beat anyone in the region. IMO

Don't have any details yet, but the KHSAA scoreboard has Ryle over Highlands 1-0.

Thought the game was tonight. Save yourselves some time and money since we already know the result before it is played.

Must be a typo unless the kids all skipped class today. They have that game under today. Said Ryle beat cooper last night 2-0.

NDA beating St Ursula 4-1 and at St Ursula, that is a huge win.

Many on here may not beware of how big an advantage St Ursula has on their home field. The field is very very short, you can not play any balls over the top, everything must be played to feet. The back 4 for St Ursula stand at midfield and their keeper stands on the 18. Anything played over the top the back 4 just stand there and look back at the keeper picking up the ball. At least this is the way they played a few years ago, haven't seen them play for a while. On top of this St Ursula typically has a ton of talent, very technical players, tough team to beat on any field, but to beat them at home and pound them 4-1 WOW.

Can any one that saw the game in person provide a summary?

Has the injury bug hit the Rebels hard? I hope Black isn't hurt.

Both Blacks are somewhat healthy. I think Payton is playing with a bad ankle but hasn't missed a game. One girl will be out most of the yr. Think she will be back about the last week of the regular season. Another sprained her ankle game one and still isn't back. One of the 2 seniors got red card last Saturday vs Russell. She won't be back til this weekend! They have been chugging along playing ALOT of freshman. .

HHS 4 Ryle 1

Maybe not line up changes, but playing time for some was definately adjusted. It was the youger girls in this match that were the difference makers. Girls finally listening to the coach and doing what he tells them to do. It was a great game to watch.

Who is playing well? Any players evolving into impact players to replace the injured ones?

Do you see any team in NKY that can compete with NDA?

Lookout but NCC is undefeated with a 3-0 win over St Henry.

Good win for NCC. Who is playing well? Obviously the keeper is quality. Like Davenport a lot....Who else?
