September 8, 201511 yr Just finished it and really like it. I'm looking forward to season 2 but they covered so much ground in season 1, I'm wondering what they will cover a whole season unless they move on from Escobar to another cartel. I guess that is possible. Because of Narcos I have been googling all of the characters of the show to learn about them in real life and not much has changed in Columbia. "This is home."

"This is home." He is a different guy than the beginning and I'm not sure his wife likes it. Pulling that gun on the cab driver was nothing to him and his wife was mortified. I'm not sure its her home lol.
September 8, 201511 yr 2 Episodes in so far. In the early 80's it has been reported that Pablo's group spent $2,500 per month just on rubber bands to hold their money. I don't know if that's true or not, but it's crazy if it is.
September 8, 201511 yr I've watched 4 episodes thus far. Solid show. I love the total lack of a likeable character.
September 9, 201511 yr I've watched 4 episodes thus far. Solid show. I love the total lack of a likeable character. I love Pablo and Gustavo. Their relationship fascinates me. Hell, I love Murphy, Pena and Carillo also.
September 10, 201511 yr I love Pablo and Gustavo. Their relationship fascinates me. Hell, I love Murphy, Pena and Carillo also. I think Pena is awesome. Season 2 has been ordered. That's great news because the show was captivating. Btw, I also started googling the characters.
September 10, 201511 yr Author My son and I finished it up yesterday. Really enjoyed it. The guy that plays Escobar is really captivating. I did a search on Escobar's son. He changed his name and moved to a different country (Peru maybe) and has set out to apologize to many families in Colombia that his dad hurt. Filmed a documentary about it.

September 10, 201511 yr ...but he has no problem taking all the $$ he makes off of the t-shirt line and other merchandising that profits from his dad's image being on them. I saw that also. He's giving back some money but keeping some also isn't he? I can't say I blame him. Other people were profiting off of his dad's image. He may as well too.
September 10, 201511 yr I think Pena is awesome. That's great news because the show was captivating. Btw, I also started googling the characters. Valerie Valeria being based on Virginia Vallejo impressed me. The producers made it fictional but it is still pretty authentic story telling for the TV show.

September 11, 201511 yr Pablo only stayed at his personal prison a year, then went on the lamb for 17 months. So there are at least 2+ years of Pablo's life story still to tell. At some point we should see Seals and/or Delta Forces involved as "advisors" in upcoming episodes after he leaves his personal prison.
