Honestly, except for the one that calls for a running clock and the one that claims Highlands will 'blow them out of the water', none of these really support your point. I am not ashamed to say my prediction was wrong. I thought Highlands was the better team, and Cooper proved otherwise on the field. It isn't disrespect to think one team will be better than another before they've played when one school has a history of producing strong teams.

 

You had a legitimate beef in the NKY weekly rankings, but less so here.

You are correct and I'm speaking mostly about the rankings that came after the game than anything else until some remarks were

made by some stating the only way to earn respect is to play Highlands which discounts all the great things this team and coaches have done over the last 4 years. Comments like that are a slap in the face. I have no problem

with predicting blowouts especially for the 1st game of the year when a lot don't know about what Cooper is returning etc. I will never say all those posts came from people who don't respect Cooper. I know for a fact one of my fav people Qryche11 respects them and called for a big win by HHS. That isn't what I was talking about. Jail Bird asked for posts in that thread showing blowouts, I did. That is all.

I did what you asked, and here are just a few post from fans and people other than our resident SK fan.

Now go back and read my post, I never said "AllHighlands fans" or "Only highlands Fans" give Cooper no respect as what you are trying to say I said. That is why these are quotes from fans in that thread except for mr ukfan who stated Highlands would blow cooper out of the water. Now you are saying the only way anyone will ever respect a team is if they bring home a state title? You proved my point, I guess I can add you to the list of people who disrespect Cooper because they haven't won a state title. You also said beat teams that they weren't supposed to beat. Have you even followed them the last several years? 2012, they weren't even ranked in the top 10 NKY coaches poll and started the season crushing Ryle and every team in the playoffs they were supposed to get blown out by yet beat everyone of them on the way to the State title game...and all of them on the road. Last year again in the playoffs. If you are going to make bold statements about Cooper and beating teams they weren't supposed to then pay attentin to the team you are trashing. Oh, I also think highlands was another team they weren't supposed to beat...Classic

To help you out also Jail Bird, the predictions were 87 for Highlands and 23 for Cooper. Basically 4 times the number of people for HHS.

 

Now again I never once said Cooper was disrespected by all HHS fans. Never said anything remotely close to that. I said in general for the past 7 years they have been overlooked and given little respect. Not sure how you can disagree with that especially after seeing how the Power Rankings were posted this week after the game.

I am very superstitious also

and is why I never gave a prediction in that thread even though I felt very confident in Cooper

for that game. I even in the game

thread itself when guru asked

me who would win after Cooper was up 20-0 I said I wouldn't say because I didn't want to jinx them.

 

People in here know the few that shows disrespect and know I am ou talking about them, not the majority.
