Owensboro is going to be highly ranked in the BGP Rankings this week. Will they live up to their ranking? Can Hopkinsville get the upset on the road?

My schedule says Owensboro plays host to Madisonville Friday night...and that Hopkinsville entertains a Tennessee team. Not sure which is correct....

Ram, the thread says Hopkinsville, but the schedule says Madisonville NH. Please change the text in the thread title to Madisonville when you get a chance.

It's Madisonville. OHS won two tight games last year. Mville lost The big running back, the QB and Cullen Reynolds to WKU on the line. They always have athletes though. These 2 tied in a scrimmage but I would guess neither showed a lot. OHS too much experience and the game is at RASH.

These two teams actually scrimmaged just two weeks ago with the result being 7-7. I wasn't there so I don't know if OHS was playing their starters or just not trying to show anything. With what happened to Madisonville last week at Evansville Harrison, this game shouldn't be close. I thought OHS looked solid against Warren Central, and while the Devils didn't execute at a high level, the playcalling was nice and players were flying to the ball.

Also of note, this will be new OHS coach Jay Fallin's first home game as the head coach. Good luck to the Devils and stay injury free!

These two hooked up for two very good games last season. OHS won the regular season meeting 29-22 and the playoff game 29-28, in epic comeback fashion. Last year is last year though, and Madisonville lost a ton. OHS wasnt real sharp last week and still beat a solid Warren Central bunch comfortably. Im looking at OHS's defense to control the game and allow Board and James to pace things on the offensive side.

I know Madisonville lost a lot from last year and you can tell from the score of last week's game against one of Evansville's middle of the road teams. I know Madisonville has played OHS well in the past few years but I don't see it happening this year. I think OHS controls the game.
