What are some thoughts on this first round district game between these two teams?

 

I think Brossart has got some Mo going....I'll pick Brossart

The question is can Brossart win a big game? I think the Mustangs strong pitching could be the difference. It should be a dandy of a game.

I will take Brossart also. My prediction is 7-2 in favor of Bishop Brossart.

Does Brossart go with the Senior Frimming, or the Junior flamethrower Mutsch? Who started in the first meeting this year?

The Mustangs are always picked to beat the Camels in the district and we know what has happened in the past two seasons. The Camels did beat them at Brossart earllier in the year.

Having seen them both up close and personal-like, the two teams are very similer. Both are very capable hitting teams and both have a couple of nice arms they can tote out to the mound. In my opinion this one comes down to who is a) most motivated on that particular game day and b) who commits the fewest mistakes. Not necessarily do I mean errors, but mental mistakes, poor decisions, etc. Both coaches are experienced and capable gentlemen, each team is strong. This really IS one I'd buy a ticket to. I'm going to say a 4 to 3 ballgame either way.

Sounds like some extreme hyperbole.... I have a feeling he'll more than make up for it this next time.

This game could go either way.Until BB wins a tournament game against the Camels I will pick Campbell.If BB has their hitting shoes on could be bad for the Camels but I think they will win.

Yep he will, but I heard that he gave up pitching and is into hitting homeruns more these days!!!! LOL!!

Going with the Camels, they have beat Brossart the last two years in the opening round and will make it three years in a row. The Camels are hot right now and always seem to be hot when postseason begins. Should be a dandy! :ylsuper:

I think the last time they won district, was about the last time Campbell beat them in basketball!! :D

I think the Camels will come out on top in this one. It is going to be a pitching battle against two of the hardest throwing pitchers around, Nathan Mutsch and Travis Hurd.
