Going with the Camels, they have beat Brossart the last two years in the opening round and will make it three years in a row. The Camels are hot right now and always seem to be hot when postseason begins. Should be a dandy! :ylsuper:

Campbell pitching is going to struggle a bit this year. Hurd is a young arm with some good stuff, but he needs to get his stamina up. Robertson will be a decent 2 pitcher but not great. The rest of the staff will need to step up and show some toughness. But there sticks are some of the best around and they are mentally tough and will be in the regional tourney again this year.

Your right, Pendelton showed up and gave the Camels a run for their money. Shoot the Wildcats came close to beating Harrison in the first game of the regional. But without seeding it makes those TOUGH district games during the season, not count for anything. If the 38th would have seeded the district last year, more in likely it would have been Campbell and Brossart in the region, not Pendelton. And that would have changed the whole region. I am not dogging Pendelton, they played some good ball last year, and suprised me alot. I think the Wildcats will have another good year.

It is about time they seed the district, the random draw has been a joke, the past couple of years. The last two years the teams with the best district record has faced each other in the first round.

Scott needs to prove that they can hang in the 10th. I don't think Scott will even make the Regional tourny, let alone beat the number one team in the 10th.

Yeah Harrison is still the best, and will be the #1 team untill someone knocks them off their throne. There pitching is so deep year in and year out it is insane. They can be beat but it is not easy.

No the Camels have only won 3 straight, in 02 the Wildcats of Pendleton Co. won the district crown. But the Camels have been a power in the district for a while.

The district tourny will not be a easy walk, it never is, just ask Brossart. But the Camels show up every year for districts and play well. Scott may be a good team, but I think the Camels will win it again. They have alot of returning VARSITY players that can hit, and play sound defense. The only, so called weakness, is there pitching staff, which was covered in a previous post.

Nate Allen will suprise alot of people behind the plate this year. Campbell biggest weakness is there pitching, and I don't think there are very weak in that area. Allen will take control of the pitching staff and help keep them out of trouble. He his very smart behind the plate and knows the game. He will be the best catcher in Alexandria, on the best team in Alexandria. Camels win there 4th straight district title in 06.

Campbell will be strong next year, they will have the best bats in the district and maybe the region. The pitching should be solid but nothing to brag about. The group of kids returning next year no nothing but district titles. The Camels have won three in a row, and will be hungry for another.
