The Generals were 1-16,000+ vs. the Globetrotters and 3-16,000+ against all competition.

I think the glory days of the Harlem Globetrotters have long passed. How many people can name one player on the team today?

I'd like to see the Generals stay together and enter "The Tournament" next year and go for the $1million prize.

 

I've seen several times that they had to start throwing up bricks and turn the ball over to allow the Globetrotters to get the win. These guys did what they were paid to do, but they had a few pretty good players also.

I'll tell ya, back in the day I remember some guys playing at the courts along Philadelphia Street in Goebel Park early 70s that would clean the court with the Globetrotters.

 

I would guess that they'll now play celebrity teams or something to that effect or they'll just suit up their own guys in different unis.
