theguru
Sunday (yesterday) was the NFL Network's live look in at training camp for the Cincinnati Bengals. Hoard and Lapham did all the commentary and they covered just about everything Bengals. It was an excellent hour and a half of coverage. Additionally, the host and two analyst back in the studio did a solid job too. This coverage was so so much better than what the NFL Network did a couple of years ago where they just had their analysts run on and not do a very good job. Also, they are at Steelers Camp today and using Mike Mayock who is good but not nearly as good as having the in house guys. Either way, the NFL Network is really upping their game. Jumper_Dad
A young man that played football with my son was shown on there quite a bit. He just started working for the Bengals and was "snapping" the balls for the QB's in a couple of drills and warming up QBs at one point catching passes between the QBs. I saw him on the live shot many times. I don't know if it is a permanent job or temp.
NEERFAN
I also enjoyed the broadcast. I do wish they would have had more plays on the replay loop. Evans and Doyle's were critical of Dalton.
Jim Schue
That's saying something, considering NFL Network is pretty terrible in terms of its programming and such. They really should take some cues from MLB Network.

UKMustangFan
MLB Network blows all other sports coverage channels out of the water. I would've thrown something through the TV had I had to listen to the idiot that is Dave Lapham talk for that long. Glad I missed it. :lol2:
bugatti
I agree with MLB Network being the best. NFL Network started out strong then it seemed to go downhill for a while. Hopefully it is back on the rise.

Yeah not a fan of Lap. I would rather listen to Trinity's broadcasting crew than Lap, at least there is a reason they sound like amateurs

I would rather listen to Trinity's broadcasting crew than Lap, at least there is a reason they sound like amateurs It's actually kind of charmingly hilarious to hear Lap go all over-the-top cheerleading on Bengals broadcasts, especially in light of how good he is when he plays it straight in the college booth on TV. I admit I like Lap. And like you mentioned I have heard him do college games and he is excellent. With both said, I don't have any issues filtering the cheerleading from the analyst so I have always enjoyed Lap. And the man sees "everything" from the booth.
