Dylan James - Mercer County

Featured Replies

Fans of 12th Region Basketball are getting one the best from the 15th. Former Sheldon Clark standout PF Dylan James (6'4'' 215 lbs: Junior) will be playing for Head Coach Josh Cook and Mercer County next season. Dylan's father accepted a job in the Mercer County school district Friday and the family is currently in the process of relocating. Dylan was a favorite to be Pre-Season 15th Region POY this upcoming season, and will only add to an already talented Titan's roster.

Listed below is the information I have on Dylan's career thus far. Extremely impressive! I wish him and Coach Cook the best of luck in the upcoming season!

I'm told this is true. Big news for 12th region

I'm told this is true. Big news for 12th region

Josh Moore from HL tweeted saying it is official.

How many kids does Mercer have on its roster that did not got to 7/8th grade in Mercer Co.?

How many kids does Mercer have on its roster that did not got to 7/8th grade in Mercer Co.?

They had 1 last year. If this pans out, there'll be 2 this year. There were 2 brothers from Lincoln that transferred in the spring. One would likely see varsity minutes if he stays and plays and the other is a younger player that would likely be mostly JV.

So, not much different than many teams any given year; even West Jess and East Jess within their own district.

Lots of talent. Will they have enough balls to go around?

Well, hiring his father into the school district is quite convenient. :thumb:

:sarcastic:

How old is this kid? Will he even be eligible based on his age?

He should be immediately eligible since his dad has a job there

Ok. How old is he though? Need someone to front me the $100 to check that birth certificate. :sneaky:

he is 38 years old but has been in the military for several years in turkey. he comes to mercer as a Jr.
