Did God Cause Russell Wilson's Interception?

Featured Replies

My guess is that God really did not care that much about who won that game...unless He had money on the Patriots:)....

Since this looks "crazy" to some of you in this thread imagine how off the hook "crazy" it looks to some others.

I get the feeling with Wilson that he is like a spoiled child acting out because he is not being paid what he is worth and his faith is his defense mechanism even if it isn't all intentional on his part.

I just hope whoever is in charge talks Pete and Russell into some more stupid decisions on 10-11.

I'm guessing Wilson truly believes God spoke to him. Did God speak to him? I have no idea.

I believe God spoke to me once when I was much younger. But hey, maybe I'm crazy too.

What did God tell you?

Yes God caused the interception because he/she is a Patriot fan. Also, it was an act of God that the footballs lost air spontaneously after the Indy game because he/she has a sense of humour.

I can't speak for tip but there have been times in my life where I have sensed some type of divine intervention. I have been involved in car wrecks, near car wrecks, and near life altering circumstances in which somehow I walked away clean when there should have been a different outcome.

As for "God speaking to someone"... I've never heard a divine voice so to speak but there have been times where random thoughts have popped in my head that were trying to look out for me and lead me down the right path. Sometimes it is a random thought that answers questions/topics I have been contemplating as if it explains things clearly that I did not formerly understand. It is also accompanied by a feeling you can't quite explain. All I know is that it feels like something is there to protect you and guide you and you just can't put your finger on it.

I don't want to turn this into a religious debate or anything thats for another thread. But these are things I have experienced personally that have had a profound effect on my life.

God also told Russell not to have sex with Ciara. Clearly God is not on Russell's team.

He does have a speaker in his helmet. Maybe the OC has a really deep voice and during the shock of doing one of the dumbest things ever done in professional sports he had a moment.

Bless his heart.

I can just hear God speaking to Wilson.

"We both know Pete is an idiot for making the call and Marshawn is going to implode but there is just something about Big Bill and Tom that keeps me coming back for more so like the NFL and their salary structure I am using you." "And one more thing, no sex Russell, you need to keep your head screwed on straight."

What did God tell you?

The topic is kind of personal but basically 'stay the course'.

If God is a Patriots fan, you think we can get this whole Brady suspension thing cleared up big guy? :D
