Reds @ Nationals (7/6 - 7/8)

Featured Replies

I didn't want to start the series thread after the performance the Reds gave with my last series thread, but no one started one.

Reds win last night and are 4-0 against the Nationals this year.

I guess with Cueto going tonight it's Dusty Baker lineup night. Everybody on the bench gets to play so Cueto will need to throw a shutout.

Hopefully we see the everyday starters. I wouldn't mind seeing Rodriguez subbed in for Hamilton or Byrd however. I know Byrd has been hot but I'd love to see one of our youngest and more promising prospects getting some ABs against maybe the best pitcher in baseball right now.

Phillips 2B

Votto 1B

Frazier 3B

Bruce RF

Pena C

Suarez SS

Schumaker LF

Cueto P

Hamilton CF

Pitching matchups like this one never turn out to be like they should. Scherzer is due a bad game. Look for the Reds to jump on him early, with Cueto pitching a gem, along with Chapman throwing a 9 strike save, thus securing that both of them will be Reds for the entire season.

:lol2: It won't be a save if the Reds win 7-1, and exactly how would them winning have anything at all to do with whether or not they trade guys?

Bringing Chapman in to pitch the 9th isn't a save opportunity?

Beating Nats trumps losing to Brewers, those guys aren't going nowhere

Not if you're winning by six runs.

Are you being serious?

Not if you're winning by six runs.

Didn't even think about my predicted score

5-1 Reds

I assume I am in the minority but I LOVE watching Harper play. One of the few that causes me to stop channel flipping.

Still not a save.

Lol

Blew my point all to hell
