June 30, 201511 yr Author If I'm the Pelicans, I offer Butler a max deal and try to sell him on playing alongside Davis. I think he'd be a perfect fit there. Would do the same with Marc Gasol. The Bulls have offered him the max contract and since he is a restricted free agent it would be stupid for him to leave and stupid for anyone other than the Bulls to sign him. June 30, 201511 yr Author I think that would be a smart move for Cleveland. It's clear he doesn't fit there and they could use that money to upgrade other spots. Disagree. If he is healthy in the Finals then Cleveland may have won the the Finals. All Lebron needed was one more quality player. Cleveland was one of the best teams in the league after the All Star Game when it all came together. Just because Love wasn't averaging 25 and 12 doesn't mean it didn't work or that he didn't fit.

Sure could have used him a few weeks ago. I think that would be a smart move for Cleveland. It's clear he doesn't fit there and they could use that money to upgrade other spots. Letting a 25 year old, top 20 player leave after trading away the ROY for him is never a good idea. I think Aldridge ends up in Texas. Houston or the Spurs. I'd love to see him in San Antonio.
