It's too bad the Lakers missed the memo where Aldridge said that he wants to play PF and not C. If he has to be Gasol then he'd have to play C. He'll be the PF in San Antonio. Kobe is old school but I think if he was worried about being Kobe's teammate he never would have entertained the Lakers. From what I have gathered the Lakers presentation didn't do a good job of letting LA know what his role would be. Aldridge has made it clear he is going to play where he can be a PF. Unless the Lakers could sign Jordan or Lopez there wasn't anyway he was going to come to the Lakers to play Kobe's Gasol. The whole organization blew this one. Kobe included but the blame and Kobe slander is off the hook now.
