Sounds a lot like these Nigerian kids that I heard about all last year.

How do you get them eligible?

How does every other transfer get eligible..you move.

Not going to argue that statement. Lots of talking in June/July. Most of the time that's all it is.

With that said from what I am hearing from my friends in Brooksville there will be some interesting names thrown around in the near future. And some old faces in new places in the 2015/2016 season.

And it's a huge IF I know but if those names land in Brooksville they will be in the talk for not only the all A and the 39th, but the region as well. Write it down.

Out of the three I've heard one is almost a done deal one is getting close and the third is highly doubtful but as meatloaf said "don't be sad cause 2 outta 3 ain't bad" :thumb:

If Matt Wilson is one of those you can put that name to rest. He is NOT transferring to Bracken Co, and there have never been plans to do so.

Simple. Legal change of address. Or please correct me if I'm wrong but Kids can move in with family members (or any one for that matter) as long as they have some sort of guardianship of the child in question. Probably more paperwork but where there is a will there is a way.

I never used any names. But yes he was one that was mentioned and he was the one I was saying would be highly doubtful.

Don't know if I would say it was never a thought. They were seen looking at homes in the Brooksville area couple months ago. :idunno:

And the three reasons they wanted to move there were:

1.) Wanted to play for Jason Hinson

2.) Wanted to play with Austin Crawford

3.) Thought he could win a few more games at state tournament at Bracken.

Give me a break, geez.

And the other two who are rumored to be transferring there, I don't see their current school releasing them which is required by KHSAA especially since they're in the same district.

Brackens team they had this summer will be the same team they have come December.

What's your problem? Are you one of those big school guys that gets their feathers ruffled when the smaller schools have an opportunity to be very successful for a couple years and knock the powerhouses off the pedestal for a yr or two.

Why so much sarcasm and hate towards the Bracken Co Polar Bears?

As far as being released if they don't live in that school system anymore I don't see where being released is relevant. As long as everything is done by the book I don't see an issue :idunno:

Not at all. Just one of those guys who gets tired of inaccurate information being posted to a message board.

Transfers or not these boys are still gonna make some noise. Not saying the names I've heard wouldn't be a welcome addition but if they don't make it to Brooksville for whatever reason the Polar Bears will still be a dark horse in the 10th. People need to lighten up a little. Geeze it's June.

I believe the current KHSAA rule on transfers is: you're eligible if you transfer on April Fool's Day, have your parents or guardian write a request on Charmin Double Ply, move in with the transfer school's Coach's Uncle's Brothers Cousin's sister; twice removed, you're eligible. Or just transfer to Scott County.

How does every other transfer get eligible..you move.

Probably about 10% of all transfers there parents move, Really?

Well you've been around Mason County basketball for quite sometime, please explain to us how your transfers usually get eligible.. give parents jobs inside the school system? Or?

Most schools are cutting jobs. Where would they get the money to hire extra people?
