Strategists on both sides of the political spectrum soon expect her to unveil a policy agenda appealing to working mothers." If Hillary gets the jump on the GOP on (1) paid maternity leave; (2) equal pay for female workers and (3) the rising costs of day care, what's the Republicans' response? Will it be more of the same, i.e., "Our plan is to lift wages for all American workers, men and women"? If so, then that's a losing campaign issue for Republicans.

IMO the leaders of the democrat party see society as segments of voters , blocks if you will . They have no problem pitting one against the other . Its the war on women lie that needs to be pushed to give Hillary a better shot .
June 21, 201511 yr In response to the article: I would be interested in learning at what income level(s) working moms are most likely to leave the GOP for the Democratic party, as well as whether more single moms are shifting versus married married moms. IF the premise in general is true, I believe it could be a reaction to the messaging that the GOP has preached regarding social issues. The primary message has been a call to end, restrict or reduce all programs and legislation that address the well being of all citizens. Women (in general) tend to harbor a more nurturing nature, which theoretically could mean that their approach to social issues could be shaped on the effects of legislative action on the least if us. I wonder if the perspective of working women changes as they move through life from single, working to build a career to mother, working to support a family.

Smart strategy by Mrs. Clinton to focus her message on economic issues (Post 31) of importance to married women -- who trend GOP. The attached chart is a bit dated but illustrates the big gap in voting patterns of unmarried women vs. married women. Obviously, Mrs. Clinton is seeking to attract more married-female votes in November of '16.

We have plenty here mooching. My experiences with those who are here questionably have been more positive than some of the low lifes here. My guess is women want the right for morons to stop telling them what to do when they may be smarter than them. Especially in a day and age when more are in the workforce and they are more educated.
