Again, the only ones who will be able to afford to offer these benefits are the big box companies that liberals love to rail against. It will put the little guys out of business. Then you can complain when WalMart is your only option to shop. Let me know how that works out.

The full law and worst parts haven't even been fully implemented yet. We are also already seeing the negative affects of the law in the private sector. I'm tired of the idea that all jobs deserve the same benefits , you are not entitled to free everything. You earn it, earning it doesn't equal being born.

We have states already doing this. Just get ready...this will be another nail in the conservative coffin. Since corporations, and ultimately their customers, would be funding this plan, are you willing to lead the charge to lower US Corporate Tax rates to what those other countries are paying in order to fund this paid time off?

Most of these plans were funded by the employees costing around $2.50 a month. So companies can keep their money and stop trying to make an excuse of why they want to run overseas. I really don't want to argue every conservative of why this can't happen. It's not about being conservative it's about being a small business owner. This isnt about the fortune 500 companies because most of then already offer these benefits.

How do the employees fund those foreign plans that you're so fond of? What I've read is that it's either company or government funded. I think it can work, simply drop the tax rate, which you seem not to even want to consider. Why is that?

Ok drop the tax rate if that works, but just get ready. A majority of Working women fall into middle class. These are issues they want to see resolved: what are we doing for our middle class families other than saying "keep working hard and someday you'll make it." I'm trying to get this thing back in topic. :idunno:

To the point it isn't middle class Americans who benefit from such programs they are actually the ones most impacted negatively.
