As the one of the photos mentioned, the two in that photo was apprehended without incident, that is a big deal, it's HUGE! If Dylann Roof would have resisted or unwilling to give up quietly, he would be dead. As well as one is being arrested and the other is quietly cooperating and in cuffs.

Concerning Mr. Gardner, some will say that the hold was legal some will say it wasn't. Many will say it was racial, but unlike Mr. Woof who said he did what he did because of race, where is the proof that the officer involved with Mr. Gardner was racist? It's not there. Say he was anger and wasn't doing his job properly? Ok, maybe there is something there, "maybe". But all these people have to do is look at the incident in Cincy today, what if Mr. Woof wanted suicide by cop? If he did one thing wrong at his traffic stop, he wouldn't be here.

The sad thing about Mr. Gardner is, I wish he would have at least said he had asthma, maybe that may have changed things.

But, two totally different situations, and at least two different officers, you can't compare the two situations.

Not sure if this pic will upload. Saw it on Facebook.

Ironic they got a white vest on a black man and a black vest on a white man.

This thread should be titled "How to fan the flames of racism"

Racism runs deep in America... very deep... the hate that keeps on hating. None of us are completely exempt from racist thoughts. Acts like Charleston began with a single racist thought. Who sparked Dylann's first thought? Do we all hold some responsibility for the Charleston's?

I'm white and 110% not responsible for that idiot or his actions.

I think the prejudices that each of us bring to the table contribute to an atmosphere that breeds this kind of hate and these kind of acts.

I think Morgan Freeman is on to something.

No.

Individuals are sponsored for their actions.

This guy chose to act on his hate. That is on him.

Criminals who resist arrest - that's on them.

Police officers who abuse their power - that's on them.

Individual responsibility is such an important part of living in a free country... and yet the trend is to blame anyone or anything else. It makes me sick.

Don't get too full now.

I refuse to take or pretend to think what racial problems that guy had, had anything to do with me

Completely and fully agree.

"sponsored" should say "responsible" in the first sentence. Sorry.
