Were the girls on their Private property or setup on a Public Sidewalk? I'm assuming the latter....

Everybody's focused on the parents teaching the girls a "bad lesson" about circumventing the government...but, I'm just glad to see parents teaching kids that it's alright to WORK for something they want in the first place.

Very well may be true. However, how many parents would've told an 8 year old that if they wanted something, they'd have to work for it? I'd say the vast majority of people would've either A.) just caved in and supplied the money themselves for the girls' tickets, or B.) would've flat told them "no, we don't have the money. In fact, I'd dare say that some parents would discourage the girls from doing a lemonade stand in the first place, just for the simple fact that they (the parents) think they are going to have to do some of the work themselves.

I don't want to come across as a hater in this thread. I want to point out to everyone some of the subtle things that go on in life may have far reaching implications in the future and we as a society need to pay more attention to how we teach our youth to excel in this world.

I took a little chemistry in college, though I'm no chemist...but how much bacteria can feasibly grow in a concoction full of citric acid in just a few hours?

I agree with this, and the immediate part works for me as well...I'm likely at the next city council meeting causing a slow down and jamming up the agenda with my prepared speech....

Does "Doc McStuffins" have her Doctorate Degree and/or have her license to provide health care to those stuffed animals everyday? (those of you with small children will know who I am talking about...) If she does not, then what is this teaching our young kids? WHAT AN ABOMINATION!
