Correct He is currently the last pitcher to hit a walk-off home run. He did so on April 25, 1986 in the bottom of the 12th inning against the San Francisco Giants' Greg Minton.

I've heard this question before, so I'll hold off on the answer. I'll give a couple hints...this guy had 1 really great season, one ok season, and an otherwise less than average career. He played in the 70's and early 80's and was out of baseball by 1983, but managed to come back and win one game in 1990.
