That third game won't end u til after midnight feel sorry for the fans as it is cold there and wind is blowing. Seen several in shorts wrapped in blankets.

Collins beat Madison Cent 6-5 . Tuesday's games start at 10 am , than a 1/2 hr between games, from what I hear. I don't know that for sure. And great job Greenup Co, boys played great on big stage.

Is there a video broadcast for the games?

From a quick glance of KHSAA.org, looks like they dropped the ball again. Nothing listed to be broadcasted in any type media forum. Pretty sure i watched SK last ear on the internet. Maybe that was their own broadcast. Not sure.

Just found this for the Highlands/McCracken Cty game.

That's the game I most wanted to see, but I can't do a 10:00 or later start time. 8:30 is max with work the next morning.

Knott/Scott should be close to the 8:30 start....

Don't think KHSAA network has broadcast the 1st round since they went back to the 16 team state tournament.

The rule they went by last night was that the Collins game had to start before 10 or it would be moved till Tuesday. Luckily that 2nd game sped up some and got over by 9:30. They fixed the field and played. No infield, player introduction or National Anthem.. First pitch went about 9:51 temp 51 degrees

So how far behind are they today?

They are in the bottom of the 6th inning of what would have been the 11am game. Barring anything like extra innings, that game should wrap up within the hour. They are on a rolling schedule, which means the next game will start as soon as possible...giving enough time to do minor field work and let the teams warm up. As long as that game can get started by 4pm, the evening games should start at their regularly scheduled time. There is a gap that was scheduled in between game 2 (scheduled 1:30 start) and game 4 (scheduled 6pm start).

Hoping KCC wins, so can maybe take in Thursday's game, 50's and very overcast where I live, not going to make the one hour trek until temps warm up some.

So when will the final be played? Sat or Sun?

Will get interesting if it is Sun...Just sayin...

I don't mean to be a naysayer on high school tournament baseball, but some reasons that I find it hard to follow the state tourney are weather delays, restrictions on pitchers, times of day when games can or cannot start, when innings can or cnnot start, arbitrary times for make-up games, etc. If you're connected with a team these may not bother you but to a casual fan they are somewhat annoying. I understand that they come with the territory but they nonetheless detract from the tournament experience IMO.
