Animal Cruelty

Recommended Posts

Today on my way to work, the car in front of me swerved all the way over into the opposite lane on a 2 lane highway to deliberately hit a dog. Who does that? What possible explanation, other than just a pure evil heart, would compel someone to do such a thing? I was distraught. I stopped, but there was nothing I could do for the poor dog.

I think you have the correct answer.

OK the man was an idiot for intentionally trying to kill a dog.

What about the dog owner? Does not know where his dog is, does not have it in a fenced yard? Some responsibility lies upon the owner.

That's a whole different topic. But I see plenty of stray pets on my daily drive to and from work. I also see plenty of wildlife. NEVER would I EVER go out of my way to intentionally hit and/or kill one.

You can debate the topic of the responsibilities of pet owners all day long, but it has nothing to do with the level of cruelty one must possess to go out of your way to kill one.
