This team really seems to have quit already. Reflection of the manager IMO.

Who was it that said that "Bark in the Park" was dumb marketing (or something along those lines)?

I bet you can't guess which sections are the "Bark in the Park" sections tonight:

3,4, and 5? :)

Did they even start?

Cozart SS

Votto 1B

Frazier 3B

Bruce RF

Pena C

Byrd LF

Negron 2B

Lorenzen P

Hamilton CF

Haven't heard our usual Votto is superman posters say much lately. 38Ks is second only to the outstanding tandem of Bruce and Byrd who lead with 43.

It's hard to drive in runs with no one on base. Didn't hear anyone complaining about his strikeouts in April/March in about the same # of games and at bats. I think it's safe to assume his hot start was helped by Hamilton getting on bases 50% of the time for that two week period. He is the least of this teams worries at the moment.

Anyone, come on now.

26 hits in 97 PA in April/March

20 hits in 88 PA in May

Got anything of substance to add?

I still say you bat Jay Bruce leadoff and follow up with Votto. Leave Hamilton in the 9 hole like I suggested a week or so ago. Cozart needs to bat right before the pitcher each and every night. Hit Phillips 3, Frazier 4 and Byrd 5. Then come with your catcher, Cozart, pitcher and Hamilton

Do you take a bag of dog treats to the park with you tonight?

I have never done that. The thought has crossed my mind in the past.
