The obsession of some Raceland fans over Fairview is amazing and somewhat disturbing to me. 9 out of every 10 posts in this and other negative Fairview threads is by you all. Some of you I consider to be friends of mine so I am sure this post will be taken in a negative light by some but as I said it is really disturbing to see some of you Raceland folks that just continue to pound on this. Let whatever it is that has crawled up your behinds go. Its not healthy

I agree that's been my point the whole time is some Raceland people like misery. I'm not trying to be mean just speak what I see on this board and know about our area. Too many people like to run others down and don't look at the bigger picture. My view is move forward and quit bringing down people that have moved on. You have your proof in the OEA report that musick was the main cog but yet some posters want to continue to talk about football. It's so childish and obtuse way of thinking its laughable. I appreciate everyone's thoughts on the matter and respect everyone but enough is enough people. Clearly the mcpeeks have moved on, just like musick will I'm sure.

If you're more concerned about the OEA report, then take it to the controversial issues forum and talk about it. This is the football forum and I will continue to talk about the wrongdoing in the football program as long as it take to get it through the wrong doers skulls in Westwood. That is the point all the Raceland people are trying to do.

 

But I'll quit just for the general satisfaction for the other members.

I'm done as well but don't really see what you guys want. You are going to get what you want, Fairview especially after this season with the graduation of Alex Roy, and Antwan Washington will be mediocre at best. It's a very bad way of thinking when it's been almost 2 years since the Ashland ineligible player and that happens many of places that it never gets to that point of no return. Good luck this season Little Ram, I believe with TJ keeping the Russell kids at Russell, and Greenup not giving up as many student athletes the Rams will see a dip in success over the long haul. I still believe with the current alignment however TJ wasn't very smart in leaving because single A football is so bad on the east side especially. See I'm talking about FOOTBALL stuff Little Ram. LOL have a good one!!

I would like to see Nathan McPeek and Garry McPeek sue the school and bill musick because of the recent OEA report.

OWN what the people in this football program and school administration have done and stop trying to deny it or explain it away. I am a big enough person to say that by God there were some flat out wrong dealings out here ! You complain about others not letting things go, you may or may not be right about the Raceland fans but I have only posted around four times, including this one and since you don't agree with it you start on me ! I am starting to think that is the problem, it's not the amount of post that someone makes, your problem is that you don't agree with what they are posting.

Happy that we went undefeated and to a State title game. Look what and how some cheated to do it! So just what was accomplished ? A person can go on about the "technicalities" all you want to but when they look in the mirror in the morning they can't lie to themselves about the ways and means that it took to accomplish it ! You can worship the Musick's and McPeeks if you want, that's entirely your choice. I absolutely agree that Nate McPeek is an excellent football coach. Gary is a very good coach as well but when what was done here I cannot believe that you can honestly be proud of that. Go on all you want about what another or several other schools do but I don't care what tey do. I care about what was done here.

Undefeated, district and region titles, final four win are no more are they ? Seems to me they were stripped from this school and that caused even more humiliation to the good people here.I want to win as much as anyone and I want to have Fairview do it in a way that all can be proud of it and not just a few of the adults in leadership positions that fed their ego, built their resume.

I sincerely hope that this new superintendent can restore what this school system used to be. The other one sure didn't. Even after the McPeeks left this administration retained a person on the coaching staff and took a superintendent back that was part of and the origin the problems all along.

sidelinedoc 2 - one last comment and question to you is that you post your frustrations for the Raceland people on here (and trust me being beaten by them for most of 30 years and listening to them rubbing it in I understand some of it) for posting against Fairview. #2 did you actually expect them to sing our (Fairview) praises ? Fairview was wrong and a couple on here are still in denial. As for me and trust me a lot of others all that I can say is that I want people to know is that everyone out here isn't in denial, are embarrassed. I just want some on here to know that there are people / alums of Fairview that do not go along with all of what was done here since the early 2000's. I really hope that Fairview can and will rebuild our good name, the Westwood community deserves it.
