Isn't that amazing that his "coach/guardian" is now a major universities Director of Basketball Operations when the best job he ever had was driving a delivery truck for Lays Potato Chips? I wonder how much of all this the K-State people know? :irked:

And once again, the circus rolls on - does this really surprise anyone? I wouldn't be surprised to hear that he transfers again another couple of times.

When Bill Walker left Rose Hill he was a freshman. He left because Rose Hill refused to move him to the 8th grade in February of his freshman year. The administration at Rose Hill wasn't concerned about Mr. Frito Lays AAU title.

Rickyp, I was under the understanding that the AAU coach's best job was driving a Budweiser delivery truck. Am I to now understand that it was actually a Frito-Lay truck? If so, I am disappointed. Driving a Budweiser truck would, in my mind, carry a lot more prestige. In either case, he didn't work long enough for his retirement benefit to vest.

I have official confirmation he drove a truck for Rolling Rock and delivered bottled water. After several traffic violations he was retained in the warehouse.

Of course, when you combine that background with a nephew (or grandson) that can dunk with his elbows, it would appear that the real resume' seems to shrink in importance ...

Actually, either one of those are great paying jobs......depending on the route.

I agree, iPapi. It was not my purpose to slight either occupation. Both are honorable. I was merely wanting a clarification. However, I do think the Budweiser job would be a superior situation. Nonetheless, I have a hard time seeing either job as a sufficient prerequisite for Director of Basketball Operations at a major university. But, then, I have often heard that many employers look at what an applicant can bring to the job.

Plus I'm sure Huggins would rather have a Bud hook-up than a frito lay hook-up. Thats right down his alley.
