Tyler Persons to transfer from NKU

Featured Replies

Dang. I like this kid's game. I thought NKU really lucked out by signing him. Good luck to Tyler wherever he ends up.

I understand wanting to go to high profile program like Indiana, after all he is a native, but he had a good thing going here at NKU with all the playing time he got. Might be tough sitting the bench at a different school.

So does he sit out a year or does that depend on how he is released by NKU? Or does a new coach give him a free pass to transfer?

Pretty sure he can play right away. Coaching changes make it possible.

Not true for transfers. You sign with a school and not a coach.

Coaches get to coach, players get to sit.

Xavier too much of a stretch for this kid? Ball State and IUPUI seem to make sense.

On offense, No. On defense, Yes.
