You caught me! LOL

Q ran a 4.56 in Nashville. Solid time.

Personally, I don't like them because they are commonly lied about and there is a lack of consistency in the timing methods.

A 4.5 here is not a 4.5 there. Hand timed, laser timed, ect.

I agree Ram. That is why I initially stated that he was the fasted kid at both the recent combines that he attended.

And, I think that tells the tale. No matter the time, he was faster then everyone else.

I thought I'd ran a 4.5 when I was in school till I found out the man holding the digital stop watch was dyslexic. Lol

Hand times or lazer?

Laser

I could note as well that he weighed in at 198 at the combine. It will be interesting to see the results of this added muscle.

Shamari Morton from Owensboro Catholic ran a 4.36 at the Rivals.com combine.

Hand held he ran a 4.39

Case in point.............

That would make him one of the fastest people on earth - Olympian.

Usain Bolt's estimated 40 yard dash time in his best run is about 4.1. Hand held stop watch timing can account for .2 difference in timing. Even an electronic timer, depending on how it is done can be off by .1 of a second. Then you get into running conditions as well. I think debating a specific time is a bit of a waste of time because of all that. Baker is very fast. Morton is very fast. No real need to dissect it any further. If someone tells me a player ran a 4.5, I just automatically think he could be a that fast or perhaps even a little faster, or he could be as "slow" as a 4.7. Then I watch him on the field to see who he outruns and who outruns him to see what really matters.

It's kind of in the same boat as me not liking guys that dunk...only because I can't. I'll dunk when it's worth 3 points...
