Yes they will. Both return everyone. Carlisle will be solid as well.

It's safe to say we underestimated and underrated some WKY teams all year long. Lesson learned and will be applied in the future. I feel like Bowling Green will easily be a top 5 team next season.

 

Easy to do. Hard for some to get to play in other parts of the state.

Congrats to Owensboro on their 43 trip to the Sweet16 (A state record) they win their 4 state title in school history. Coach Rod Drake wins the daily double. Won the State Title as a player in 1980 and a coach in 2015.

The 1917 "state tournament" was an unofficial one and was not played under the KHSAA. It's why you won't find it in the record books.

We got the 1917 banner hanging in the gym at OHS and the KHSAA website has the tournament scores posted and the championship game says Owensboro's Bartlett was the leading scorer in the championship game.... KHSAA records show Owensboro won the tournament....5th state title..its in the records.

I'm just saying, when I go to look at the state tournament results listed on the KHSAA site, it isn't there. Nor is it listed among their state titles on the site. I'm not sure where you are looking, but it feels a lot like the KHSAA doesn't recognize it. I can't blame Owensboro for claiming it. Basically a gray area.
