North Carolina 70 Louisville 60

Featured Replies

This one is tough to take. Extremely poor second half from Louisville. Rozier was poor. Harrell had no service at all.

Louisville's first postseason loss to a team other than Kentucky since 2011.

Didn't realize they were playing this afternoon. They need to let me stream games at work.

One more left to get through...

Snider looked "nervous" or "rushed" for the 1st time today. Entitled to that as a FR PG playing in the ACC tourney without much regular season experience.

Onuaku & Mathiang provide nothing at the 5 as usual.

Gill was horrid (including 0-2 from FT line) in limited play. Bad execution & decisions.

Rozier was good for 30 mins but did not finish.

Harrell did what he could when he got the ball. Didn't get the ball enough. Have to play inside / outside.

Blackshear played reasonably well overall. Needs to step up in the tourney (yeah, me and Deuce are a broken record here).

How far they go will be determined by matchups. If they get 2 teams that haven't seen Syracuse or UofL's matchup zone much, they could get to the 2nd weekend. That would be a success with this group.

^ With Duke, UVa, and Notre Dame now all but assured of finishing higher, Louisville's chances of being sent out West have actually improved and frankly, that's almost preferred at this point.

I thought UNC looked ripe for the taking today...missed the end of the game and was shocked at the spread. Then watched it and realized UNC hit FT's while UL missed some bombs...made score look much worse than it was.

Pititno Quote on Blackshear was rough.

Yeah send us out west. At least then we know we won't be in UK's bracket. :lol2:

The only team Louisville's lost to in the postseason in four years before today. Three straight league titles and a national title in 2013... ugh.

Didn't see that. What did he say on Blackshear. Thought he played as well as could possibly be expected today. Rozier was absolutely awful in the second half.

It was an old quote the TV guys repeated...Pitino said that "Blackshear had improved less since coming there than any player he had coached" or something to that end.

I thought he did really well today. Can't ask a lot more of Wayne. Rozier and Harrell were the problem in the second half.

That's what the announcers said right after they mentioned the quote, said it may have lit a fire under him.

Would be good for them if they went out west IMO.

I hate UNC, but this puts them one step closer to playing Duke again, also I hate UNC.
