Or, if you need to obsessively tweet - and we know that you do - at least pick your head up when the game action is right near you! Otherwise, you may end up like this poor unidentified woman at Wednesday night’s Hornets-Kings game. Poor woman never saw it coming.

March 12, 201511 yr Saw a woman on her phone take a foul ball to the head, last year at a minor league game. She ended up with a fractured skull. If it had hit 2 inches lower, she would have lost an eye.

If that were her husband, maybe he WANTED the ball to hit her in the face. You see those seats? I bet they are $100 or more a ticket seats, EASILY. I'd be like..."hey, if I'm paying $100 for you to be here, you BETTER be freaking watching the game"!

I don't like sitting behind a net so I try to get seats near first/third base lines. I even taught her how to keep score so she would pay more attention, yet she continues to bring books with her to the game to read. Just a matter of time.....
March 12, 201511 yr Went to a high school basketball game about a month ago. It was amazing how many people I saw sitting there looking down and not at the court at all. Smart phones, the new addiction (like cigarettes).
