I disagree! Collins will and can push the ball very well. They are athletic just gonna be undersized. Owensboro will not put a trio of guards on the floor to match Collins. If Collins has a decent shooting night watch out.

Collins does not want to run with OHS. I think Collins needs to set up in the half court and bomb away from 3. Collins may get some opportunities at junk baskets if they beat OHS down the court off rebounds. Collins may be able to run but I'd advise them to pick their spots to do so. OHS can go to their bench and there are plenty of athletes there as well. If OHS plays well, Collins is in trouble. No disrespect to Collins, they're a fine team. OHS is capable of winning the whole thing and this team won't be looking past Collins.

With all due respect to Owensboro, their schedule leaves little to be desired. To their credit, they tried to beef it up and they did. Yet lost to all of those teams that they beefed it up with.

Only thing that worries me about O is the big guy in the middle. How is he at hitting FT'S?

I completely agree. We played a much more balanced schedule than Owensboro

Collins has lost to Franklin Co., Madison Central, Cooper, Oldham, Woodford, DeSales, Henderson, Calloway Co. -

They beat Oldham and I'm not sure of any other name team on their schedule they beat

Owensboro lost in the LIT to Doss and Wayne Co (missing 1 or 2 of their guards), Lost at Trinity and to Apollo in the 9th district

Owensboro has beaten BG twice - once at their place, won a nice tourney in Illinois, Warren Central, Apollo twice, Daviess twice (who beat Henderson), Christian Co.

Collins 8 losses - I think Owensboro beats all of those teams, with the lone challenge coming from Henderson.

I'm not sure I buy the better schedule argument when you have some bad losses and I don't see many good wins.

Owensboro lost 3 of there 4 games all to very very good teams..Trinity..Wayne Co., Doss a much tougher schedule, hands down.

Those 3 Losses:

Doss 26-6

Trinity 24-6 who lost to #1 team in US by 10

Wayne Co. 23-6

As far as losing to all the teams they beefed it up with, not sure a 17 game win streak then a loss to Lou. Trinity is to shabby

Now, go ahead and run down the records of the rest of their opponents.

I'll run down Franklin County...who is at 62.6 on the LIT...they beat Collins. tell me who Collins has a good win over besides the 1 Oldham Co. game - I honestly don't know, but it doesn't look like they've beaten much of anyone and they've lost to a number of teams, some of whom are not really good.

I've shown Owensboro has some good wins above - show me why Collins lost to Franklin and some other average teams, and show me who they've beaten.

So arguring Collins played a tough schedule, when you've got 1 good win doesn't mean anything. Owensboro has BEATEN more quality opponents and Collins has LOST to much lesser opponents.

17 of the top 25 teams in the LIT... are home. Wins at Bullit East, Louisville Eastern (2 times), Louisville Male, Graves County, and John Hardin. Not so shabby!!

Perhaps, but no one on here said that Collins was a team that could run out and win this whole thing. And from the very beginning, I've said that Collins was the underdog. And I'm taking them to win by a bucket. And as far at the LIT ratings they're about as useful as single ply wet toilet paper.

Im with ya on the LIT ratings being a lil lacking..lol..and Im not running dwon Collins and there great season. in face I do think that if they get hot, they could end up playing on Sunday...Its just OHS schedule vs Collins is not any worse or weaker thats for sure...I will be at this game, and expect it to be a Collins victory, just gotta disagree with the schedule vs schedule comments...hope theres a good crowd at this one.

If Holman doesn't get in foul trouble it will help..Morrow will be the deciding factor in my opinion...if he's on there tough to beat...Morrow had a 22 point first quarter in a tourney over here in Illinois..Four Seniors start so all those have State tournament experience. Something just tells me there gonna come out flat, an Collins will prevail

i think this one comes down to if Drake feels like coaching or not. I saw Drake sit back in his chair and basically lose a game he had won at the KOB. Sometimes getting a technical foul really aint coaching! so if the leader leads this team can go on if not then oh well!
