I agree! They would struggle significantly without her. She keeps teams from being able to all out press them to death.

Congrats to Holy Cross, they are really really good. What a great year for girls basketball in the ninth region this year. Holmes, Highlands, NCC and Ryle, some really nice teams, congrats to all the teams that made the regional. As a bulldog fan, I say go Indians, bring the trophy back. Has a ninth region girls team ever won state? I can't remember one.

I only saw one game. In our game, I would have gone with McClendan, Turner and Hassert. But that doesn't mean the others didn't play well in the ones I didn't see.

Nope. McClendon should have been on the all tournament team. She plays just about evey minute. She is the most valuable player on there team. Ally mayhaus doesn't make it either. Wonder if this had anything to do with him not starting her on her senior night hmmm....

The teams that win the region usually have a list of candidates for all tourney.

I haven't seen any of the HC parents chiming in on the list. That I know of. And I know most of the folks posting on here.
