Wayne County 61 West Jessamine 58 (12th Region Quarterfinal)

Featured Replies

Photo shows ball in hand with 0:00 - but that doesn't matter. I don't think you can catch, turn and shoot with .6 seconds left. Game should've gone into OT, but West shouldn't have been in that position in the first place.

Tough game to lose and Wayne has shown in the past that if you don't shut the door they'll make you pay. Some questionable calls by the officials, none bigger than the final. Great game all around and the semifinals should be a blast.

That's all the officials use. They can't watch the clock and the game.

This is how it was explained to me. Refs go by the buzzer not by the clock.

Any stats for this one?

There's a picture on Twitter that shows the ball sitting in the shooter's hands with 0.0 on the clock. I knew it had to be close.

I i was at the game and seen the video there was 0.2 seconds left when the ball left Payton's hand

You're going to tell me that he could run, Catch that ball, take a step back and shoot it all in .4 seconds?

What happens to Stearns and whats his status?

I saw a Photo with ball in his hands and the clock at 0.00. Must have been photo shopped.

The running was when the clock wasn't moving. But it was close.

Sorry but like I said earlier there's no way someone can catch, turn and shoot in .6 seconds... .3 seconds is max for a tip-in. Again, credit Woods for the incredible shot, and West shouldn't have been in that situation anyway, but you can't catch turn shoot in .6.

PP92, i believe whoever took this video shot is the same that took on last second shot. I saw it posted on facebook last night from a twitter acct. and its as clear as this game tying shot from almost same angle. There is absolutely no doubt the ball is in the air when the horn sounds. You can clearly see the ball and hear the horn. It is as clear as a tv picture. I"m not computer savvy enough to be able to put it on here. Just wish whoever took it and put on twitter would do so on here and would relieve any doubt to the ones on here saying the ball was still in his hands.
