It looks like ESPN has upgraded Bolden from 3* status to a 4*. Now the 27th best PG in the country. Very impressive for the NKY product. Can't wait to watch him at WVU next season. Still wish he would've got the chance to suit up for the Big Blue .

Where does he rank on all time scoring list at Holmes?

I asked the same thing but haven't been able to get a definite answer. I'd say he will join an elite group in the 2K point club at Holmes.

 

I know Schloemer is the all time leading scorer but not sure who else has reached the 2K mark.

That is impressive. He's an amazing ball player. I'm sure he'll have no trouble getting 2000 depending on the tournament.

Yes.

He dropped 21 against HC and 8 against CovCath earlier this season. I believe he will step up his game now that it's tournament time!

 

He had a bad game against CovCath in the regular season, hopefully he'll get a chance to redeem himself.

I can only assume he knows how close he is but would take a district and region championship over hitting 2k

 

He should get atleast 3 games to get it. My guess is he gets it in the district final after a big game against Holy Cross.

Bolden dropped 23 tonight in the win against NCC! He's one point away from 2000, next game is Monday against DIXIE Heights.

Talked to Reynolds Flynn before the district championship (which by the way was an absolute treat...would love to sit down with him to write a book or atleast film an interview about 9th region history and some of his stories)..

Doesn't surprise me for three reasons:

1.Holmes used to be the biggest school around and top 2-3 in the state. Talent pool was a lot bigger just based on numbers.

2. Booher/ Listerman have been a lot more offensive minded coaches than Henley ever was ( neither way is wrong IMO) and Beetle has benefited from this. They have tried to play the game at a faster pace, which equates to more shots for everyone.

3. Of the players mentioned Beetle is the only one who had a 3PT line. The kid is a great player and one the best talents to ever come out of NKY but when you start making shots worth 1 PT more the total should be higher.

 

Regardless he is has been a great player and I hope he gets to 2,000.
