Holmes James 'Beetle' Bolden 47 pts away from 2000

Doesn't surprise me for three reasons:

1.Holmes used to be the biggest school around and top 2-3 in the state. Talent pool was a lot bigger just based on numbers.

2. Booher/ Listerman have been a lot more offensive minded coaches than Henley ever was ( neither way is wrong IMO) and Beetle has benefited from this. They have tried to play the game at a faster pace, which equates to more shots for everyone.

3. Of the players mentioned Beetle is the only one who had a 3PT line. The kid is a great player and one the best talents to ever come out of NKY but when you start making shots worth 1 PT more the total should be higher.

 

Regardless he is has been a great player and I hope he gets to 2,000.

Bolden will go down as one of the top 10 best players to ever come through Holmes, which says a lot considering all the talent they've had over the years.
