62 % shooting. What a ball game. LCA is the best team we have played all year. They had 4-5 inches on us at EVEREY position, but the Cards played with such heart and girt the whole game. We also played the last part of the 3rd Q and all the 4th Q without Braxton Green who went out with another ankel sprain.The same one he missed 5 games with earlier this year. Jerryd Jones foulds out with 4:50 to go in game and score is 59-51 GRC. Cards did let up and players stepped up. Real team win tonight. Isreal stepped up big for the game tonight along with Davis and Jones. King was ....just Damion and played with no fear and under control at all times even when double and triple teamed.

 

LCA has a 8th grader that starts and is a real nice player in Kyle

Rode. He is a name to remember. Matt Rose was his typical good self as he is ranked the best player in the 11th region. Hard fought game by LCA

 

HUGE confidence win for the Cards going into post season. So proud of them!!!!

Yes was was BIG time win. What was so impressive in this game is when our 2nd leading scorer in Green when out in the 3rd quarter and didn't return, the Cards had players come off the bench and played very well. why playing 10 players all year has really helped.

 

Also when Jones..our tallest player at 6'3 and he was still out sized by 4-5 inches fouled out with over half of the 4th quarter still to play. That meant GRC was without 2 starters and only had a 8 point lead. Very impressed with the bench and how they responded and just played with so much heart. Love this little team!!!!

 

If you saw them warm up you would have thought LCA would have won in a blow out.

Forgot to post. GRC JV won in OT 58-56. GRC,s JV has only lost 3 games this year. Our Freshman team won the regional tourney. Future looks bright for the Cards.
