How tall? Can he play D?

Seven-hundred some-odd people see this thread and nobody knows this? It ain't like this team's been hiding away in the mountains.

I think they list Justice at 6'3. He may be an inch shorter. He's not a defensive whiz by any means but I think he will be adequate enough at the next level. His main calling card is his offensive ability.

Good size and strength for a guard at Vandy. Not a great defender but with some work he can be good. I think he handles the ball well enough but will be a two-guard in college. He's very good in the open floor. I like the way he rebounds, especially considering his team doesn't need him to rebound much. And of course he's not going to miss any free throws.

I don't know if he'll play much his first year in college, but if he stays I think he can be a very good player.

That's great and all, but it doesn't really answer the question. What else can he do? I've never managed to see him play, for whatever reason, so I know nothing about him. Is he a one-dimensional scorer who will never be heard from again after HS?

Camron has total package, he has actually run the point for 2 seasons, rebounds well, a on the floor coach, and plays darn good defence. You will see him at Vandy next year and I will bet he will start.

Vandy has a young team right now. Both of the starting backcourt are both freshman and the next guard who comes in is a freshman, I think Justice will see the court his freshman year but I don't see him starting right off the bat.JMO

From what I've seen he always plays hard. Gets my vote for Mr. Basketball, well I don't actually get a vote but if I did he would get it.

Where does Phelps' Ervin Stepp rank? He averaged over 50 ppg his senior year in the early 1980's.

11th. He holds the record for best avg ever, around 54ppg in 1980.

With 3421 points and counting Camron Justice is now in 5th place in KY career scoring;

Here is how it breaks down

Kelly Coleman 4337 -916

Charlie Osborne 3647 -226

Harry Todd 3567 -146

Chris Harrison 3542 -121

Camron Justice 3421

How many points would Coleman have scored with the 3 point line.

Good long range 3 point shooter = excellent fit at Vandy. They always have shooters down there.

I was looking all this up for my own curiosity so decided to add it here...

According to Mike Fields tweet the other night Justice has 3494 career points. That would keep his 5th all time at the moment.

4337 Kelly Coleman

3647 Charlie Osborne

3567 Harry Todd

3542 Chris Harrison

3494 Camron Justice

According to KHSAA's website, Justice is averaging 24.3 points per game this year. At that rate...

48 points behind Harrison so he would catch him in about 1.98 games. So he'd likely get to 4th in the Region semis, maybe the finals.

73 points behind Todd so he would catch him in about 3.004 games. So he'd likely get to 3rd in the Region finals, maybe the 1st game at Rupp.

153 points behind Osborne so he would catch him in about 6.3 games. The 6th game would be the State semis to if he were to get to 2nd all time it would likely be in that game or the state title game.

The snow certainly didn't help his chances of getting to #2 . Maybe he can have some big games this week in the Region.

I can tell you he is not going to score just to go after the record. He has passed up wide open lay ups at least fifteen times to give Evan an assist for a thunder dunk. This team, in their minds, have a higher goal. They are closer than I have seen them in the three previous seasons at Knott. On a similar note his teammates will sacrifice everything but wins to help him achieve his personal goals.
